Hello! My name is Andreas, as you have figured out by now. I was born (and raised) in Nicosia, Cyprus, and I live in two places, depending of the time of year: Lancaster, UK (Term Time) and Nicosia, Cyprus. I am currently studying Computer Science Innovation (BSc) at Lancaster University, UK and working for CableNet Communication Systems Ltd.
My interests are varied, and I believe this site reflects that, but the main focus computers and technology
Some facts about me:
- I am primarily a student, even sometimes I pretend I am not. I still have lots of stuff to learn and discover. Or I just don’t want to put a sticker on me yet.
- Since 2004 I picked up photography, and up until today I cant call myself other than a newbie. I really hope to take photography classes sometime. I find it relaxing.
- I like traveling. I feel myself blessed, because I had the chance to travel a lot since a little kid. This has impacted a lot on my character and ideas.
- I pick up programming languages easily, and the skill to make a computer to bow to my wishes is handy. I get paid for it, and I enjoy it. I like PHP most, tho I am fluent in Java and C. If you can call XML, XSLT, XHTML and CSS programming languages, I can speak in those too.
- My Computer-related interests are loads. I am into web programming, web design, programming in general, computer networks, operating systems. Lots of stuff. As I grew older this list gets shorter and shorter tho.
- I love music. It started from rock, accommodated alternative and embracing Jazz and Blues. I hate “Foivos”. I can’t name a few artists I like, I need a dedicated page for that.
